Your ears are the physical representation of the receptive capacity of your mind. One meaning of receptive is, “able or inclined to take in.” Man hears with his mind rather than with his ears. If his mind is so occupied with its own preconceived thoughts that it is slow to grasp ideas conveyed to it by the higher self within or by people, dullness of hearing often manifests itself. “I give heed,” “I am attentive,” might well be good slogans for those who desire to demonstrate more perfect hearing.
If you would like to enjoy healing of your ears, take time every day to quiet your mind and body in order that you may become able to hear the still, small voice of spirit within you.
